The Town of Beninngton Rescue Squad, Inc. provides Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) training to the general public and medical professionals.
medical device that is used to resuscitate a cardiac arrest victim.  The AED is designed to deliver an electrical shock to the heart, and is used on unconscious patients who display no breathing or pulse.

The use of an AED had traditionally been used by healthcare professionals but has been recently introduced to the lay public.  In most states the use of an AED by lay rescuers has been added to the Good Samaritan Law.  The Bennington Rescue Squad is excited to get this life saving skill and knowledge to the public.

We can assist an organization in the implementation of a Public Access Defibrillation program.  This program is designed for companies who want to offer to their employees the benefit of having an AED at their workplace.
